Evans Uchechukwu
Evans Uchechukwu is a Christian minister, entrepreneur, and builder from Nigeria. He has spent more than a decade in Christian ministry and has worked in business for over fifteen years.
He is the founder and Managing Director of Toledah Technologies, a technology company building software and tools for businesses. Toledah's products include Zaena, a business management and financial structure platform, as well as other products and experiments in business technology, analytics, and optimization.
Much of Evans' work sits at the intersection of faith, business, systems, mathematics, technology, and human development. Across these different areas, however, there is a question that keeps returning:
What stands between what something could become and what it actually becomes?
Evans is interested in the gap in between.
- The gap between potential and capability.
- The gap between capability and reality.
- The gap between "I want to" and "I have."
He is particularly interested in understanding what fills that gap: knowledge, capability, systems, resources, relationships, discipline, structure, accountability, and the many other things that determine whether potential ever becomes reality.
This interest shapes both his thinking and his work. He studies how systems work, identifies what is broken or missing, and builds better ways to move from one state to another. For Evans, growth is not simply about becoming bigger. It is about becoming capable of what you want to build.
His work with businesses is one expression of this philosophy. Through Toledah, he explores how technology, data, analytics, and better systems can help businesses understand where they are, make better decisions, and become capable of greater growth.
He is also interested in the same questions at the level of individuals and communities: How do people become what they are capable of becoming? What do they need to cross the gap between intention and reality? What systems can help them move from wanting to having?
This is part of the thinking behind Thronos, a project Evans is building around helping people turn what they want to build into something they can actually build.
This website is Evans' personal platform. Here, he writes about becoming, leadership, faith, business, systems, technology, culture, and mathematics, and the ideas and experiences that have shaped his life. He also publishes stories, shares his music, and explores other creative work.
Before Toledah, Evans spent several years working in 3D design and digital creative production. He founded 144Digital and worked across 3D illustration, product animation, and character animation. He no longer works in 3D professionally, but if you've come across profiles under the names Uchechukwu Evans or @evanometre, including on ArtStation or Freelancer, that's the same person: an earlier chapter of his career.
Evans believes that ideas are meant to be lived, tested, built, and put to work, not merely discussed.
